Universal Orlando Resort has revealed the names and details on its newest accommodations: the Surfside Inn and Suites, which will debut in summer 2019, and the Dockside Inn and Suites, opening in 2020. The two hotels make up the Endless Summer Resort and will offer a total of 2,800 guest rooms. The properties are described by Universal as "extra affordable" with a "relaxed and beachy" vibe. When completed, Universal Orlando will have 9,000 hotel rooms.
On the corner of Universal Boulevard and International Drive, the two properties will have standard rooms and suites. The suites will sleep six and feature two bedrooms, a kitchenette and dining area, plus a bathroom with separate shower and vanity.
The Endless Summer Resort will follow the debut of Universal's Aventura Hotel in August 2018. The property, which will offer 600 guest rooms and a rooftop pool, was designed with open spaces for impromptu gatherings and networking. Also on-site will be a lobby bar and the Bar 17 Bistro.
