 Universal Parks & Resorts and Loews Hotels & Resorts on Monday announced plans to build a 1,800-room hotel development at Universal Orlando. Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort is scheduled to open in 2014 and will include 900 family suites, each capable of accommodating up to six people, and 900 standard guest rooms. The property will feature two pool areas and will be adjacent to Universal's Islands of Adventure.
