The AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin, Texas, has completed renovations to its 297 guest rooms. Among the enhancements are 48-inch flat-screen TVs with U-verse and DVR, double-pillow-top mattresses, more electrical outlets, and USB at the bedside and desk. In-room iPads feature newspaper, alarm-clock and weather apps; details about the hotel; outlet menus, and a special search to find local activities. The rooms already had guest-detecting thermostats.

"This renovation has evolved our rooms to a completely different experience to meet both the comfort and technology needs of our guests," said Keith Purcell, director of sales and marketing at the property. "We're confident our guests will enjoy our renovated rooms, as the new guest rooms reflect the platinum service we provide."

The ATTEECC, a member of the International Association of Conference Centers, will open the adjacent Robert B. Rowling Hall in July 2017, featuring a 15,000-square-foot ballroom, 5,000 square feet of prefunction space and a 5,500-square-foot banquet kitchen. Currently, the center has 40,000 square feet of meeting space and a top-notch restaurant, the Carillon, which serves sustainable, in-season ingredients.
