A $4.3 million renovation has been completed at the 236-room Westin Virginia Beach (Va.) Town Center. Managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts, the property is minutes from the Virginia Beach boardwalk and ocean.

All guest rooms, public spaces and meeting space were tackled during the project. The hotel now features water-inspired wall coverings and carpets in natural textures, as well as woodwork inspired by driftwood. The new lobby sports contemporary chandeliers, an open registration area, a "living wall" water feature and cozy seating with easy access to electrical outlets.

The guest rooms now are decorated with warm, serene neutral colors and cool aquatic-blue accents. New 55-inch flat-screen TVs have been added, and the bathrooms have been refreshed.

The 17,182 square feet of conference space, including the 8,332 square-foot ballroom, were given new wall coverings, carpeting, contemporary furnishings and  artwork. The Marketplace, the hotel's coffee bar, was given a work/relax environment with a community table and new seating arrangements.

The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center features an indoor pool and a WestinWorkout Gym, as well as Interlude, the property's restaurant and lounge.
