A multimillion-dollar renovation has been completed at the 415-room W Seattle. All guest rooms and meeting spaces were redone, as were the hotel's Living Room lobby, Trace restaurant and 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
One item is left on the hotel's construction agenda: opening the first W Sound Suite in North America, a private music studio and writer's room for recording artists, studio musicians and other hotel guests.

For the new guest-room design, an "urban lodge" theme was chosen using blues, purple, teal and yellow gold with grays that invoke the city's skies. Each room's signature W amenities include Bluetooth-enabled TVs, access to high-speed WiFi, Bliss Spa bath amenities, the signature W Hotels Bed and the brand's signature Whatever/Whenever service, which provides guests whatever they want, whenever they want it.
"From the moment our guests enter our living room to the moment they head upstairs, they will be struck with a design that exceeds expectations and connects them to the roots of what the Emerald City has to offer," said Richard Hill, general manager of the hotel.
