The 2,267-room Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has completed a $5 million renovation of its 329,000 square feet of meeting space, refreshing every meeting room at both resorts. The meeting space renovation is part of the resort's multiphase, multiyear, $140 million redesign project, which also includes the transformation of the Swan Hotel's 758 guest rooms and the Dolphin Hotel's 1,509 guest rooms.
The Dolphin lobby is also undergoing a $12 million redesign, to be completed by the fall, transforming it into a contemporary space with new dining and beverage options.
The resort has 84 meeting rooms, two executive boardrooms, four ballrooms, outdoor function areas, two business centers and complimentary transportation throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. The properties feature a high-density Wi-Fi system capable of providing groups of more than 15,000 attendees with fast and reliable internet service.
"We are constantly exploring new trends in design and amenities to offer our guests the very best experience," says Gino Marasco, director of sales and marketing for the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. "As a result, we are making the largest investment in the resort's history and look forward to presenting a new look, from our lobby to our guest rooms to our meeting space."
In the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort, the Swan and Dolphin is between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and is near Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Magic Kingdom Park.
