The Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif., just began a $20 million renovation. The property's 393 guest rooms will receive new carpeting and wall finishing, larger flat-screen televisions, new Westin Heavenly beds, a replacement of all hard and soft goods, and upgraded bathrooms. In 2016, some $10 million will be spent on renovations to the hotel's 33,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
