The 230-room Wyndham San José Herradura Hotel & Conference Center opened in the Costa Rica capital on Tuesday. Among the hotel's amenities are free high-speed Internet access in guest rooms and meeting spaces, as well as an Executive Level, which includes private-lounge access and a complimentary happy hour. A 24-hour business center, a fitness center, a full-service spa, a salon and two restaurants also are on-site. The country's first Hard Rock Cafe will open at the hotel in 2013. The property offers more than 28,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 12,800-square-foot ballroom. The hotel is the second Wyndham to open in the city, following last month's debut of the 111-room Wyndham Garden San Jose Escazu.
