A public-space and guest-room renovation has been completed at the 260-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Central in Texas.

"The refreshing renovation of our hotel includes every aspect of the guest experience, adding a cool, contemporary style, and a sleek and stylish design into each suite and public area," said Tim Goodman, the hotel's general manager. "We are eager to give a big Texas welcome to our guests and business partners in the coming months and showcase our updated accommodations in the best light."

The property's front desk, lobby, public restrooms, business center and on-site restaurant all were redone. The atrium now offers "Connectivity Zones," where guests can hold informal meetings, plug in their laptops or even do a presentation on a monitor. All guest suites were given new carpets, wall vinyl, new bedding packages, a new look in the bathrooms, sofa sleepers with an ottoman, new dining-room furniture, upgraded lighting and new TVs. In 25 percent of the king suites, the bathtubs were removed in favor of stall showers.

Other hotel amenities include an indoor pool, a fitness center, on-site dining, a business center, and a daily manager's reception serving free snacks and drinks. The property has 5,600 square feet of meeting space.
