The 127-room William Gray is slated to open in Old Montreal this summer. The boutique property, located on St-Vincent, just steps away from Place Jacques-Cartier and the Old Port, will have more than 10,000 square feet of event space, a 180-seat restaurant, a rooftop terrace, a luxury spa with an outdoor pool, a boutique and a café. The eight-floor hotel incorporates two historic buildings, the restored Maison Edward-William-Gray and the Maison Cherrier. Guest rooms will feature local art, rich wood, and floor-to-ceiling windows; the décor includes light-colored floors and walls, concrete ceilings, black metal light fixtures, white sheer curtains and dark furniture.
