Manhattan's Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery City, has been reflagged as the Wagner at the Battery. The hotel, now managed by Highgate Hotels and a member of Leading Hotels of the World, offers 298 spacious guest rooms, including 39 suites.

The lower Manhattan property is steps from Battery Park and within walking distance to some of the most iconic sites in New York City, including the One World Observatory, 9/11 Memorial, South Street Seaport and Wall Street. Many of the guest rooms are equipped with telescopes that allow guests to take in the commanding views of the Statue of Liberty, New York Harbor and other sights.

The Wagner has 18,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including two ballrooms with cutting-edge technology and 12 breakout rooms. On the 14th floor, Rise, a multi-use event space, offers a seasonal outdoor terrace overlooking Manhattan and the harbor. Other amenities include a 24-hour fitness center. The modern American bistro 2West, led by executive chef Philip Medora, serves dishes with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. The eatery's floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Battery Park.
