A study of 1,250 attendees of the 2009 Motivation Show in Chicago, held Sept. 29 through Oct. 1, 2009, reveals that making contacts was the most important reason delegates had for attending the event (cited by 88 percent). Other reasons were learning about new products (85 percent), getting general industry information (79 percent), gathering information for purchasing (70 percent) and finding new technology (56 percent).
