According to the Site International Foundation's latest study, 80 percent of the 735 incentive professionals polled had some familiarity with the various aspects of cruising. Among other findings:
• Five percent of those polled indicated they would never utilize a cruise ship for an incentive program.
• Thirty-two percent of respondents indicated they were unaware of meeting space on cruise ships, and just 21 percent said they were aware of private venues on cruise ships.
• Trip length is an important factor in choosing ideal cruises. For groups, four- or five-night sailings are favored; longer, six- to eight-night cruises were favored for individual incentive travel.
