Incentive travel still is a powerful motivator, according to the final installment of a four-part study on the topic conducted by the Site International Foundation and the Incentive Marketing Association's Incentive Travel Council. Among the key findings of the latest survey, which queried 1,000 qualifiers and nonqualifiers of incentive travel rewards, 86 percent of respondents feel recognized by earning motivational travel; nearly all -- 95 percent -- of the qualifiers said they were somewhat to extremely motivated to earn a travel reward; 91 percent of those who did not qualify were similarly motivated, and 72 percent of award winners reported an increased feeling of loyalty toward the host company.
