Ron DiLeo, executive director of the Association for Corporate Travel Executives, announced his resignation on Wednesday, effective Dec. 1, 2012. At that time, DiLeo will become the new president and CEO of payment solutions provider AirPlus. "In my new role, I look forward to volunteering my time to remain actively involved in ACTE's continued growth and advancement," he said in a statement. The association has created a search committee, co-chaired by board member Leigh Bochicchio and former ACTE president Ron Wagner, to find someone to fill the position, hopefully in the next several months, according to ACTE president Suzanne Neufang. Under DiLeo's leadership, ACTE expanded into new markets and launched a number of global initiatives.
