The ASAE Annual Meeting and Expo wrapped up yesterday in Nashville. The event, held Aug. 9-12, welcomed 5,924 total participants, including 3,142 attendees, 1,863 exhibitors and 919 others. This year's show saw the most attendees since 2007, when the association met in Chicago. The exhibit hall was open for two days and had 707 booths representing 441 companies. The buyer-to-seller ratio was 63 to 37. Some $500 million in business is projected to be booked in the city by attendees over the next 10 years; nearly 75 percent of attendees said they had not been to Nashville in 15 years or had never been.
