Destination Marketing Association International has named Sarah Dickson vice president of partnership development, a new position for the organization. She will report to Nina Winston, executive vice president of membership and partner relations. Dickson most recently served as director of partnership development for Brand USA, an organization that works with the travel industry to maximize the economic and social benefits of travel.

"DMAI's members and partners are central to the success of the association's efforts," said Gary Sherwin, president and CEO of Visit Newport Beach (Calif.) and chair of the DMAI board of directors. "Don [Welsh, president and CEO of DMAI] and his senior leadership team have done a masterful job at identifying exceptional talent in their continued efforts to deliver on what our stakeholders want, need and are willing to support. I look forward to working closely with this team as they continue to evaluate and secure opportunities that will bring value and collaboration across the industry."
