The Meetings Mean Business Coalition has appointed Michael Dominguez, senior vice president of corporate sales at MGM Resorts International, as co-chair alongside David Peckinpaugh, president of Maritz Travel. The two are leading MMBC's advocacy efforts to showcase the value that business meetings, travel and events bring to the U.S. economy by continuing to engage with business leaders and the media. They also will help host the first annual North American Meetings Industry Day, which is scheduled for April 16. Dominguez's position previously was held by Larry Luteran, senior vice present of group sales and industry relations at Hilton Worldwide.
