The European Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings exhibition will add a Business Travel Pavilion at this year's event, as well as an enhanced track of corporate travel education sessions provided by the Association of Corporate Travel Executives. According to research following last year's event, 57 percent of the international hosted buyers organize business travel. The new Business Travel Pavilion at the Barcelona exhibition will provide a dedicated meeting area and showcase for corporate travel suppliers, as well as host "bite-size" education sessions for travel buyers. EIBTM and ACTE have formed a strategic partnership to offer the dedicated education stream. "This collaboration is extremely timely," said ACTE executive director Ron DiLeo in a statement, "as business travel and meetings continue to converge. Face-to-face meetings are vital to business success and a healthy economy." EIBTM takes place Nov. 27–29, 2012, at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.
