Financial & Insurance Conference Planners has named Junior Achievement, the nonprofit youth education organization, as its long-term philanthropic partner. In a statement, FICP said the decision to align all of its philanthropic activities to benefit one organization "will provide the opportunity for a more significant, longer-lasting impact to an exceptionally worthy cause." According to 2012 FICP chair Koleen Roach, "The idea to focus our charitable efforts to benefit one organization came about when FICP noticed the significant giving -- more than $400,000 and many hours of volunteering -- members made to multiple organizations through FICP's corporate social responsibility activities. JA's dedication to educating next-generation professionals complements FICP's mission of educating members to increase their success and strategic value."
