Organizers for IMEX Frankfurt, the annual international meeting trade show, have announced a number of changes for its 2012 show, taking place May 22-24 in Germany. Among the new features: Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the show; more than 120 seminars are scheduled; the technology area of the show will be expanded by 10 percent, and an IMEX app will be available. In other news, 20 new hosted-buyer groups will join the show; a total of 4,000 hosted buyers are expected to attend. On the exhibitor side, the U.S. section will be 15 percent larger than it was in 2011. The winners of this year's Wild Card competition, who earn both free space and free marketing support, are Sendai, Japan, and the El Salvador Convention Center.
