Exhibition industry leaders convened on Capitol Hill Tuesday for Exhibitions Day, a new collaborative effort between seven organizations, including the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, the Center for Exhibition Industry Research, U.S. Travel and more. More than 100 meetings were held on the Hill to discuss the main issues currently affecting exhibitions and events, such as the JOLT Act, government employee attendance at meetings, the Visa Waiver Program and the International Buyers Program. Additional events included an Educators Forum that brought together industry leaders with professors from area universities who were interested in learning more about integrating exhibitions into their curricula.
