James Gilmore, coauthor of The Experience Economy and author of Look: A Practical Guide for Improving Your Observational Skills, and travel journalist Peter Greenberg will be the keynote speakers for Destination Marketing Association International's 2017 Executive Summit. The meeting, which will be held March 20-22 at the Westin Nashville, connects the leadership of DMOs and global thought leaders.

Other meeting content will address pressing issues DMOs are facing: crisis readiness, destination security and a global outlook for 2017. The full schedule with session speakers and content is available here.

"Innovation happens through collaboration. And if our industry is going to remain relevant in a hyper-competitive global marketplace, with an incredible pace of change, industrywide collaboration, cooperation and consensus is essential," said DMAI CEO Don Welsh. "As a result of the continued vision and support of the Destination & Travel Foundation, the team is well poised to develop and implement critical tools and initiatives for our members -- many of which will be discussed during the program."
