Meeting Professionals International's MPI Academy has announced several new education offerings, including seven web-based courses and two Experiential Event Series programs.

"At MPI, we strive to be the first choice for professional career development by delivering comprehensive and relevant education during conferences and events as well as online," said Paul Van Deventer, president and CEO of MPI. "We are excited to launch these new MPI Academy offerings, which are part of ongoing efforts to expand our digital content and make our education more accessible to members, and look forward to introducing more courses later this year."

The new courses include online versions of MPI's Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate and Sustainable Meeting Professional Certificate programs, as well as the Meetings & Events at Sea program presented in partnership with the Cruise Line International Association.

Taking key points from the association's Experiential Event Series, held at South by Southwest and the Consumer Electronics Show, the academy now features two web-based, on-demand Experiential Event Series Case Study courses. The Venue Sales Certificate Program I and II also are now available online. All of these courses align with the Meeting and Business Event Competency Standards and will be available online starting July 1.

The next programs for the Experiential Event Series also have been announced, featuring pre-event access and education at the Democratic National Convention, July 18-20 in Philadelphia; and behind-the-scenes access and education during the Toronto International Film Festival, Sept. 8-11.
