Meeting Professionals International's December 2012 Business Barometer, a bimonthly survey of top members of the association, shows that giving attendees remote access to meeting content -- whether presented live or on-demand -- is becoming more important. The practice also is leading to increased attendance. The senior meeting professionals who responded also indicated the European debt crisis and the U.S. government's handling of the fiscal cliff are making them more concerned about the economy. Still, event budgets continue to rise at a slow pace. The full report is available here for free to members; the cost is $25 for nonmembers.
