Meeting Professionals International has published details online about the World Education Congress's program, which will be held Aug. 2-5 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The opening keynote will be presented by Deepak Chopra, who will discuss his concept of "wellness real estate." The WEC will offer more than 70 concurrent education sessions, with many sessions being repeated to give participants more options to attend the more popular classes. Those participating in MPI's Hosted Buyer Program also will have more opportunities to attend the education offerings, as the appointments will not overlap the sessions. Two flash-point-style general sessions will feature quick presentations from speakers such as Sam Richter, an internationally recognized expert on sales intelligence and online reputation management; and Chris Heeter, founder of the Wild Institute, a national organization committed to connecting people to nature, themselves and each other.
