The Society of Government Meeting Professionals will hold its second CGMP Congress on Feb. 22-24, 2016, in Arlington, Va., for planners who already hold the Certified Government Meeting Professional designation.

"This designation formally verifies professional planning skills and a personal commitment to best practices," said Rob Bergeron, CAE, CGMP, who is CEO of the organization. "We look forward to this wonderful opportunity to provide our certified members with additional training."

The event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington D.C.-Crystal City. The first CGMP Congress was held in 2012. Find out more about the SGMP here; register for the congress here, and learn about the certification program here.
