Reed Travel Exhibitions, producers of the IBTM (incentive, business travel and meetings) portfolio of exhibitions, today announced a strategic partnership with the Association of Corporate Travel Executives. "This year we are making business travel a key focus across all of our shows," said Craig Moyes, group exhibition director for Reed's meetings portfolio of events. ACTE will provide an educational track of sessions pertinent to face-to-face meetings in the context of business travel, according to Reed's announcement. The partnership will kick off with Reed's AIME (Asia-Pacific Incentive and Meetings Expo) February 21-22, 2012 in Melbourne, Australia, when ACTE will offer one educational session. ACTE’s first official educational track will launch at the GIBTM event in Abu Dhabi, March 26-28, 2012. The two organizations also are exploring opportunities to collaborate around future ACTE events.
