The Site International Foundation has released results of the latest Site Index study, "Focus on Destination Management Companies." The research from 154 international incentive professionals (planners, DMCs and others) is an update of a survey the foundation conducted in 2011. Among the findings, the percentage of DMCs indicating that they want to venture into the realm of offering traditional incentive company services decreased from 2011, while the majority of planners surveyed (60 percent) continue to believe that DMCs want to become one-stop shops. Planners' view of the DMC's role as a major proponent and source of corporate social responsibility activities for programs increased from 60 percent in 2011 to 81 percent in 2013.
