The Site International Foundation has unveiled a new white paper, “Incentives Move Business: Risk Assessment/Management for Incentive Events.” The report gives incentive planners a broad overview of what to do when an event such as a natural disaster, government/labor unrest, transportation disruption, medical emergency or act of terrorism or violence disrupts a program. The document includes a list of key resources (including travel advisories, DMOs, DMCs, insurance firms and security companies) as well as a template for developing a risk management plan.
