The Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Industry Association released a statement announcing that all events within the city are "running smoothly and without interruption" while protestors occupy city districts to demand universal suffrage. The two major venues, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and the AsiaWorld-Expo, are accessible and fully operational, while public transport and ferry service are running as normal at the HKCEC. Some bus service has been affected.
