The government of Thailand officially lifted the curfew in all remaining provinces on June 13, marking a return to normalcy for the country's tourism industry. A nighttime curfew had been in place since Thailand's military overthrew the elected government on May 22, though over the past two weeks, restrictions have gradually been loosened in phases throughout key tourist destinations. According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, no further curfews are expected to be imposed.
