The U.S. once again was the top country for large association conventions in 2014, according to newly released rankings from the International Congress and Convention Association. The top-10 ranking of countries showed little change from 2013, with the U.S. followed by Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Japan, China, Netherlands and Brazil. In ICCA's city rankings, Paris was still number one, followed by Vienna, Austria; Madrid, Spain; Berlin; Barcelona, Spain; London; Singapore; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Istanbul, Turkey; and Prague, Czech Republic. ICCA's rankings are based on the number of association meetings that take place on a regular basis and rotate between a minimum of three countries. The top 20 countries and cities and the number of meetings they hosted in 2014 are listed below:
