The Anaheim (Calif.) Convention Center has been awarded LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council after a two-year retrofitting process. The center's 1.6 million square feet include 813,000 square feet of exhibit space, 51 meeting rooms, a 38,000-square-foot ballroom and more than 100,000 square feet of outdoor event space, among other facilities. The ACC's green efforts include a recycling program, a solar energy system, and efficient water and lighting fixtures.
