The newly renamed Bradenton Area Convention Center in Florida, formerly the Manatee Convention Center, has completed an extensive 18-month, $6.5 million renovation. The 60,000-square-foot facility, which offers seven breakout rooms and new outdoor options for events, is on the Manatee River and received new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems; a new arena lighting grid; new flooring; new paint and wall coverings; and energy-efficient lighting controls and fixtures. The property’s conference facilities also received a renovation and now offer chandeliers, wall sconces and other refreshed design elements.
