After extending its technology contract with Smart City Networks, the LEED-certified Colorado Convention Center in Denver now offers free Wi-Fi in all public areas. The Anaheim (Calif.) Convention Center, also a LEED-certified facility, will begin offering free wireless Internet to all visitors in January 2012. The 1.6 million-square-foot venue will provide standard 128K-upload and 256K-download capacity, though upgrades will be available for groups and individuals seeking faster speeds.
