A new waterfront district called Hyperion Wharf is coming to Downtown Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The area will look like a 20th-century port city and amusement pier and is expected to be completed in three years. The new district, which also will offer boutique shopping and entertainment options, will increase Downtown Disney's dining capacity by more than 25 percent. The name comes from Hyperion Avenue in Los Angeles, where Walt Disney built his first animation studio in the 1920s.
