Pogby, a reservation system for event spaces, has completely redesigned its site, its booking engine and its back-end interface, and relaunched as imbookin.com. The online tool, which is currently in beta but is live for New York City, allows planners to search and see pricing of packages at unique event locations. Searches can be filtered by date, guest count, budget, location type, privacy, amenity and age group. One significant new feature is the ability to create an event based on package types; in other words, a planner can search for venues that would support an open bar package, appetizer package and dinner package. Features in development include map-based searches, location videos, user profiles and reviews, and offer codes. Over the next two years the company plans to roll out the platform for Washington, D.C.; Boston; Chicago; Miami; San Diego; Los Angeles; San Francisco, and Seattle, among other U.S. cities. Planners can register at imbookin.com to receive updates, book New York City venues and/or provide feedback.
