The Rome-EUR Convention Center has opened in the Italian capital's historic EUR quarter; the facility accommodates up to 9,000 delegates at one time. Designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas, the conference venue is composed of three sections: Theca, Cloud and Blade. The Theca is the outer layer that incorporates the Cloud, a 1,760-seat auditorium that acts as an independent structure within the interior of the building, as well as flexible conference space that accommodates an additional 6,500 attendees.

The Blade is an adjacent 441-room hotel. The eco-friendly design of the facility features clean energy sources and an intuitive air-conditioning and heating system based on the number of people in a room. The facility also has parking for up to 600 vehicles.
