The first phase of an $11 million improvement project at the 3,001-seat San Jose (Calif.) Civic auditorium has been completed. Enhancements include new exterior LED lighting, new concession stands, refurbished hardwood floors, a freshly painted exterior; better loading deck access, and a new high-definition sound and video package. Phase two will add new concession areas, new fixed and portable seating, and elevator access to all levels. All work will finish by the end of this year.
