The Monterey Conference Center in central California announced that it will temporary close in November for a $45 million renovation to create more flexible meeting space and more usable prefunction areas. The facility also will add upgraded technology and the ability to host multiple meetings simultaneously. The first floor of the revitalized center is planned to reopen by late summer 2016, while the entire project is expected to finish in early 2017. The center offers 41,000 square feet of function space.
