The 1 million-square-foot Cleveland Convention Center opened its doors last Friday. The complex offers 230,000 square feet of exhibit space, a 32,000-square-foot grand ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lake Erie, and more than 90,000 square feet of meeting rooms. Attached to the Convention Center is the Global Center for Health Innovation, which will open in October to offer permanent showrooms for medical, surgical and hospital goods.
