American Express Meetings & Events has expanded its relationship with technology provider Cvent. While Amex already is using the Cvent Supplier Network to source meetings venues, November will bring a Cvent-customized meeting planning web portal for clients. Among the portal's features will be a centralized calendar, a Meeting Requestor tool to automate sourcing and a Request History tool that provides a database of past meeting requests. Amex Meetings & Events clients also will have limited-time, exclusive access to Cvent's new Meeting Estimator tool; additional tools will be rolled out over the coming months.
