Two exhibitors that were scheduled to participate in ASAE & The Center's 2010 Technology Conference and Expo -- which was canceled following blizzards in Washington, D.C. -- are launching SnowTech 2010, an online series of six sessions for association professionals. Attendees are eligible to earn CAE credits, although ASAE & The Center is not involved in the new event. Based on erroneous information provided by ASAE, M&C reported earlier today that CAE credits would not be granted; in fact, participants are eligible to earn one CAE credit per class. A spokesperson for ASAE apologized for the error and noted, "Indeed, the sessions in question do qualify for CAE hours just like any continuing professional education offered by any professional entity." The live webinars will be provided by webcast firm CommPartners and Web Courseworks, an association education provider. SnowTech 2010 will take place March 2, 9, and 16 (for a full list of sessions, click here.
