Meetings technology provider Cvent has launched SocialWall, a new tool designed to compile and display meetings-related social media content for its customers. Tweets, Instagram photos, custom posts and announcements can be shared on display screens at the meeting venue. The new tool, which currently is being showcased at Cvent's annual Corporate Meetings Summit, captures and shares attendee-generated content from social media networks and the Cvent CrowdCompass mobile app. Displays can be customized according to brand, and content can be monitored with multiple levels of control. Customized posts featuring sponsor announcements can be sent; the ability to schedule them in advance will be added in the next few weeks. In addition to functioning with live, on-site displays, SocialWall offers website widgets for use before and after an event, as well as functionality within the CrowdCompass mobile app. SocialWall has a tiered pricing structure, starting with a limited free version.
