 The latest version of Cvent's event management platform includes numerous upgrades, the company announced this week. More than 100 enhancements have been made, among them mobile access to the Cvent Supplier Network. Planners can review and manage requests for proposal on their mobile devices, while suppliers can view and bid on group business leads on the go. Additionally, Cvent's web survey tool now integrates with Trip Advisor, allowing hoteliers to publish survey data automatically to the review site. Deeper integration now is possible with Cvent's event management tool, which now accepts real-time data from other applications or databases when attendees register; also, new functionality in that tool lets planners track and schedule resources such as speakers, meeting rooms, collateral and audiovisual equipment. Clients using Cvent's strategic meetings management functionality can add their own internal meeting space to the platform, potentially driving down costs. Policy enforcement also has been simplified, with the addition of procurement department alerts that mark out-of-policy meetings sourcing. Additional details are available at
