 Last week, unveiled a destination profile section to aid planners in site selection. The website, which is a free portal that aggregates information from destination marketing organizations, added enhanced mapping functionality, destination-services checklists, contact information for local experts and destination news, all designed to facilitate site research. "The new destination profile was created with direct input from several focus groups," said empowerMINT's managing director Christine Shimanski, "with planners identifying the key challenges they face when choosing a meeting destination."
