Event app provider EventMobi has released Fusion 2.0, a major update to its platform. The software now offers end-to-end functionality, incorporating event registration and check-in as optional features. (Clients paying for the premium package automatically will receive those new features.) The redesigned mobile web app also is now far more customizable, with more branding opportunities for event organizers. The app's offline performance has been expanded as well. Other features include the ability to host a private social network and attendee chat; streamlined gaming set-up; live polling and surveys; and on-the-fly updates to the app, rather than the previous "Update Now" pop-ups that required action on the part of users. EventMobi officially unveiled Fusion 2.0 Tuesday at IMEX America in Las Vegas.
