Hotel and meetings technology provider Lanyon, which earlier this year merged with Active Network Business Solutions, has acquired group reservations provider Passkey. The deal adds to Lanyon's suite of cloud-based software tools for planners and hoteliers. “This acquisition propels us several steps forward in providing a unified technology platform for managing all aspects of meetings and events," said Lanyon CEO David Bonnette in a statement, "while enabling hotels to drive more revenue from corporate travel, and now group bookings." Passkey's GroupMAX allows attendees to book their hotel rooms online via event-specific websites.
