 ON24 launched its virtual communications platform last week, consolidating its services into one enterprisewide solution. "With this platform approach, we are no longer providing just webcasting and virtual environment solutions," said CEO Sharat Sharan. "We are integrating all of our applications into a single platform that makes it incredibly easy to create, distribute and consume content, and measure program efficiency." The new model is based on a workflow that starts with creating do-it-yourself webcasts, then distributing them via channels, virtual events or virtual environments. Emphasis also will be placed on quantifying results afterwards with robust analytics. In conjunction with the shift, ON24 is rolling out Webcast Elite, a package that integrates into marketing automation platforms and automates the publishing of new webcasts.
